| Name: | Ciri Anekáth |

Ciri's a character being played by cofmanynames (known at this time as C, for clarity, as she shares the name Ciri with this character) in the Alas, Babylon RP. She's the main character of an original work by yours truly, and was brought to Babylon by author's whim (which is the final cause of most of the events in the Dae, the worlds she hails from) right after a battle. She's... extremely rattled by that, shall we say.
At the time she arrived in Babylon, she had been a Fire-Water mage* for a few months. Though characteristically powerful, her magic is extremely uncontrollable, and she is rather prone to setting herself and other people on fire. She doesn't burn very easily, though.
Also, Ciri hears voices. A lot. Most of them are malign. None of them would object to the considerable mental real estate that would be opened by her demise; 'malign' in this context simply means they'd work to arrange her death themselves, instead of utilizing patience.
As she puts it, she's "not very good at this breathing lark" and so doesn't understand why no one else is accustomed to seeing stars constantly. She carries around the heart of the first person she killed mostly on purpose (it turned into wax, you see) and her watch tells real-world time, since that's where she's from. (It's a long, long story. Two books, in fact. I'm working on it.)
Ciri's not always all Ciri, although the people in her head are not as defined as those in the heads of other C-alternates. Ah, yes. Did we not mention that Ciri started as a slightly different version of yours truly? Just one that doesn't write, but still stuck with a messed-up head and some extreme and deep-seated perfectionism.
Among the characteristics she shares with anyone else based on C is that she can be alarmingly sadistic (perhaps sadomasochist would be the right word, as she tends to take her desire to hurt someone out on herself ) - she deeply alarms herself, at least. Whether this alarms other people is yet to be seen. In comparison to other C-based creatures this pales, but when you're comparing someone to Libris it's hard for them to hold a candle.
Ciri is also scared of you. Very, very scared of you: because you're a people, and in her experience people either hurt her on purpose or inadvertently, and inadvertently is worse.
Anyway. That's enough rambling; hopefully, out of that mess of letters above you can assemble an idea of Ciri.

*Dae mages' magic is elemental. The mages tend to specialize, always having one element they rely on (fire, water, earth, air or the strange and ambiguous light). They can, however, 'second' another element, which makes them slightly less powerful but also a great deal less vulnerable to others' magic. Although combinations like fire and water make the mage in question all but lack weaknesses, such combinations tend to tear the mage in question's mind apart.
And that was long. We apologize.
